Vanessa Blakelock

Vanessa’s legal background spans a wide variety of challenging assignments including roles in: policy analysis and formation, investigative analysis, management and senior level advisory. This work included her public role as a ministerial advisor. One of Vanessa’s key attributes is the ability to distil large amounts of complicated information into its core meaning. She brings this valuable experience together with a keen interest in professional services to her role as an Assessor for Precise.

Kate Shierlaw

Kate brings to Precise a well demonstrated commitment to professional project management. Combine this with a proven ability in people management and Kate brings excellence to Precise across differing organisational styles.

Kate has been involved in policy formation, research, corporate communications, customer service, IT management. She undertook research projects, liaised and negotiated with representatives from government departments, community organisations and councils.

Caroline Gartrell

Caroline graduated from Flinders University with a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology). Her career was kick-started in Hong Kong in a regional marketing role for a software firm and later as an Account Manager come English Editor for a specialist Public Relations firm supporting some major multinationals. This experience gave Caroline a global perspective and passion for her work.

Now returned to Australia, Caroline’s work has been with a large charitable organisation assisting in marketing, communication and fundraising initiatives. Caroline brings a unique blend of experience to the Precise team.

Kristina Willis-Arnold

Kristina has exceptional language abilities with her fluency in German and French. She is also a regular proof reader and editor of tax and business guides.

Kristina’s skills have been well honed to meet the exacting environments of ministerial advisory and social development committees. With her literacy background, Kristina brings strong assessing skills to Precise.

Kathryn Jones

Kathryn graduated from Flinders University with a BSc in Information Science and Technology. She commenced her career in the IT industry as an Analyst Programmer. Even though Kathryn built on her studies well through this roll, she found a passion in communication, so she pursued more people focused roles within the industry. Kathryn moved within IT to sales and marketing roles where she was given an opportunity to move to Singapore and successfully set up and run a branch office.

Now with a young family, Kathryn is very happy to combine these diverse skillsets in her role as Assessor for Precise.

Kerry Hill

Kerry holds a Bachelor of Arts (History & Geography) from Flinders University. Her professional career spanned 15 years in Retail Management. The dynamism of culture and requirement to manage diverse teams of people gave Kerry a keen awareness of the nuance and best practise of communication.

Professional Writing has since emerged as a passion for Kerry. She is undertaking further studies in this area. Kerry enjoys bringing these skills to life as a regular contributor to her community newspaper, volunteering for publication editing and helping university students with proof reading.

Sharon Taylor

Sharon is a Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor of Economics degree from the University of Adelaide. She has over 16 years experience in chartered accounting, professional service and commercial environments. Sharon has dealt with a wide range of technical and business issues for a varied client base.

This experience contributes to our work which focuses on financial markets. She gives added depth and balance to the assessing team skills set.
